WHO WE ARE?

Solliegiance Technologies Private Limited is a result of an effort to explore and bring enterprise level solutions to the reach of regular consumers. We work in the field of Alternative Energy (Renewable Solar energy), and intend to bring technologies that have been available to large enterprises, to small residential, commercial and institutional consumers alike. Technologies including high-efficiency solar power solutions, automation solutions that tap into the power of ever evolving ultra energy efficient and micro IoT systems and solutions to help keep the consumers up to date with whatever happening with their systems, with critical system data and mission-critical controls accessible from anywhere in the world right from their desktops, laptops and mobile phones.

WHAT PROBLEMS ARE WE LOOKING TO SOLVE?

Well, we have a very clear agenda. There are a number of problems, that we intend to solve, however, we need to start somewhere. So, we thought, why not start from some of the most basic needs?

  1. AFFORDABILITY - Of renewable energy systems. While, these systems have been there for quite a long time, it's been some of the most recent technological advancements that the technology has started to become affordable for a regular consumer to own.
  2. AVAILABILITY - Of these systems to the specific customer base. Being a regular low-income or middle income group consumer, these systems have been out of reach, more because of the availability factor involved. Such systems haven't been available so easily in the past.
  3. ACCESSIBILITY - Of the systems throughout the lengths and breadths of the country, without the hinderance about the knowledge, cost, availability.
  4. UNRELIABLE GRID POWER - Due to the lack of options/knowledge, there has traditionally been a very heavy reliance on government for power requirements. While it is true that the successive governments have been doing as much as they can, to provide a reliable 24x7 supply of energy to every household, it is just not possible to meet ever increasing demand of power by ever growing India. Unreliable availability of power is thus a result of the gap in the demand and supply of electricity.
  5. SPACE CONSTRAINTS - Of the customers in urban areas. Urban India is ever becoming more and more congested. With increasing population, mostly due to inflow of people from rural areas, in search of better livelihoods, there has increasingly been a problem of space constraints leading to higher per unit costs in these areas, thus leading to low adaptability of solar powered setups.
  6. LACK OF INFORMATION - About how the systems work, how to maximize returns. Most of the times, people do not even know about the positives and negatives of a solar powered setup, and thus, either they don't act, or if they do, at times, tend to fall in the trap of mis-selling, over-expectation and thus, become disappointed when their expectations don't meet.
  7. EXPENSIVE INITIAL SETUPS AND LONG RoI PERIODS - Long RoI (Returns on Investments) period for expensive conventional systems and setup processes. Solar power setups have traditionally been known to be expensive to install. This has been one of the biggest hinderances in the adoption of solar power generation setups. That is the reason lower and middle class consumers have less cared to install one, since the huge one-time cost, even if such a system holds so much potential. High costs of ownership results in a very long Return of Investment periods.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

We sat down, looked for the problems at hand, and how to solve these, and we guess, we know how exactly could we help.

  1. AFFORDABILITY - Solar panels, that consist of one of the biggest investments in a solar powered setup, have become cheaper over the years. The credit can be given to advancement of technology, ongoing research resulting in newer, better and cheaper manufacturing processes, economies of scale, which have led to ever-reducing costs incurred in buying solar panels. This is what we intend to do, build affordable de-centralized power systems for everyone. Solar is the future!
  2. AVAILABILITY - Of state-of-the-art systems to residential and non-institutional customers who never had and any plans whatsoever or the capability to invest in such expensive power systems.
  3. ACCESSIBILITY - Access to affordable, state-of-the-art systems, as we see it, should not be driven by profitability only. Neither should this be controlled by the part of the country you as a consumer are located. As we see it, advancement in technology, should be passed on to everyone, irrespective of their location or economic status.
  4. BE FREE - From completely relying on commercial power companies to provide you with the energy you need, to help reduce dependency upon the government, allow societies/communities build self-help groups and solutions to their power woes.
  5. SPACE CONSTRAINTS - In urban areas, by introducing out-of-the-box implementation and designs to allow the urban customer use our systems without too much worry of their precious limited space, be it their rooftops of open areas on land.
  6. LIGHTS OUT, NO MORE -Solar power systems are complicated, no second thoughts about that, but that should not stop anyone from knowing them in-depth. Afterall, it's not any rocket-science. It's simple, just that the number of things that combine up to become a solar powered system is what makes it complicated. At Solliegiance Technologies Blog, we try making it simple for you to understand, and at least, know what you are getting, when you get a solar power system, installed. Maybe, you might even get inspiration, and the required know how, to do one for yourself, on your own!
  7. INFORMATION, ON YOUR FINGERTIPS - Our systems make use of the power of the Internet, IoT to be precise, to let the user tap into the system to check out the current status and at times control certain functions of the primary and allied systems from anywhere in the world using their computers/handheld devices/smartphones.
  8. FASTER RETURN OF INVESTMENT - By designing systems capable of harnessing and generating much more power than conventional systems, thus giving a shorter timeframe for return of investment and a longer payback period.
